Our Story

SnorkelSnot was born from frustration. After years of diving in Hawaiʻi, our founder realized that every mask sealant on the market was filled with harmful chemicals that damaged the very reefs he came to explore.

So he did what any passionate diver would do—he made his own. Using only ingredients found in Hawaiian kitchens and gardens, he crafted the perfect blend of coconut oil, olive oil, and beeswax.

The result? A seal so perfect, divers stopped getting water in their masks. A product so natural, you can eat it (though we don't recommend it). And a mission so clear: protect divers AND reefs.

Today, SnorkelSnot is used by professional dive instructors, casual snorkelers, and ocean lovers across the Hawaiian Islands. Each jar is still handcrafted with the same care and intention that started it all.

Reef Safe

Unlike chemical sunscreens, coconut oil doesn't damage coral. In fact, it's been used in traditional Hawaiian skincare for centuries.

Olive Oil

The Skin Soother

Extra-virgin olive oil adds moisture and comfort. It prevents the sealant from feeling waxy or uncomfortable against your skin during long dives. Your face will thank you.

Anti-inflammatory

Olive oil has natural anti-inflammatory properties, meaning SnorkelSnot actually helps soothe irritated skin rather than aggravating it like some synthetic sealants do.
